Photoshop Digital Ink in 5 mins

For those of you that don't want to spend 4 hours digital inking every little line this tutorial will show you how to do it within 5 mins, depending on how high your DPI is and the type of CPU and how many ram your computer has. It can take from 5 mins up to 10 mins.

To use this tutorial you must have a nice clean pencil sketch and or hand ink draft of your image. Any stray sketch marks will be shown when using this method.

I use this method when I hand ink my drawings on paper. After I scan my images the ink looks like a dark dark grey color so this makes the outline look BLACK instead of grey.

hey when i did the final step with the brush where you paint over the whole thing, it made the whole screen black, not just the lines. what did i do wrong?

Might have forgotten to Inverse the Selection.

Ahhhhhhh! This is exactly what I was looking for! I saw it in a book of comics two years ago and then completely forgot the steps. Thank you. All those other people brushing their lineart haven't fully explored the magic of Photoshop and you have retaught to me. Again: thank you.
