Mr Quigley, with the help of a few brave journalists (not already owned by o'callaghan and his lap dog minister) have to investigate&display publicly via the media unequivocal evidence on a silver platter before o'callaghan and his band of thugs cease vilifying the victim and protecting their own. what are the professional standards and the ccc actually doing if just one man can achieve what they (apparently) can't? following the protocol of o'callaghan and his band of thugs i suppose.

The problem with o'callaghan's cop out (pun intended) is that he received prima facie evidence of serious misconduct and malicious misuse of force committed against Mr Spratt. Whether Mr Spratt wished to take action is irrelevant because o'callaghan has a sworn duty to protect Mr Spratt. As leader of the Police Force in Western Australia, he is solely accountable for his misconduct and utter failure to protect a Western Australian citizen. He should be charged and sacked.

@FEINS1 karl o'callaghan knew that his thugs had used false evidence and promoted them, protected them and hindered Quigley's own investigation right to the end when he had no choice but to remove them (they are now in even higher paid employment courtesy of o'callaghan and the wa police union). the western australian police iau/ethical standards is a brothel and the (supposed) watchdog, the crime and corruption commission are merely a pr spin. they have done absolutely nothing since day one.

western australia is a police state and it is amazing how much political power the western australian police's corrupt hierarchy has over the entire judicial system. John Quigley has just been found guilty for threatening to expose a corrupt police officer if he didn't admit to his involvement in entrapping an innocent man, Andrew Mallard causing him to rot in a prison cell for 12 years. karl o'callaghan promoted the thugs who set Mallard up. if not for Quigley, Mallard would still be in prison.

@haywoodfarm true, stark contrast between his treatment of Mr Spratt & the pr stunt(using& exposing his son whilst he laid in a hospital bed).what if his son,an habitual criminal & drug dealer, was tortured at a lockup and subsequently ignored(for 2 years),vilified and persecuted through media with lies for simply seeking justice?what would he have to say when the officer instigating the torture was subsequently promoted? he has a conflict of interest all right, it's called malice & corruption.

Hows it goin babe? "Cry me a river" - i know a lovely Aboriginal woman who sings that song. Don't denigrate its beauty with your ignorance. We were together when quigley talked to both of us at a rally at parliament house. Her people include John Pat (RIP) and quigley represented the manatj that 'were there when JP died in custody'. She never used the language or emotion u r using here about my interview. Do urself a favour - get a (good) life! UR a parasite getting off negatively on my work.

Australia has a history of torturing and mistreating the original inhabitants of this land. As you can see here, the Western Australian Police led by Karl O'Callaghan have no problem re-igniting racist abuse.O'Callaghan managed to forcibly conceal this footage for 12 months and promote the ringleader. It is a national disgrace. I can only imagine how Aboriginal people must feel. Why has this leader not been sacked?‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing’

what's scary is that if one man, John Quigley hadn't of taken this case (as exactly the same situation in the mallard case) commissioner karl o'callaghan and minister rob thomas would have covered the whole thing up (like mallard), the corrupt coppers would have been promoted and this video wouldn't have seen the light of day.

He should resign :
1. His son is being tried in a 'justice' system where the prosecutors are 'police prosecutors'. Conflict of interest.
2. He has publicly acknowledged that he knew his own son was breaking the law, and ignored it : a crime. The 'top' "pig" in this state is a criminal.
3. A favourable report (for his son) came out of the govt chem labs in a record breaking time. This stinks of undue influence, and he should resign. The prosecution can't get a fair trial.
Based on stolen land!!
