  • @Chipinjack The diagonal illusion appears from the very fast forward movement together with very fast top-spin movement. Have a look at slow motion clips.

  • @Kapritchosa ...I think there is a teaching conspiracy to confuse students...this guy is clearly diagonal all the way even into the follow thru. I'm always hitting long...I'm going with diagonal henceforth

  • @Chipinjack at the moment of contact the strings should be parallel to the net.

  • Is he making contact with the string bed diagonally facing the ground ???
