Very thoughtful video you made!!! Lifelong learning should be encouraged not the pursuit of a university degree at all cost!!! Follow your passion but be an informed consumer. Look for alternatives like trade school, community college, workshops, classes offered at different levels, good textbooks, videos etc... to learn what you want. Live free, die well!!

university is definately NO GUARENTEE! you can get further without a degree or just as far...its true my first degree aint worth the paper its written on to be honest...straight waste of money but the overall experience was priceless. alot of jobs favour experience as well rather than qualification and most you can gain that while you work anyway...thats how it is in the UK anyway...like you say unless its a professional degree then there aint much out there for you

have you all lost your sanity? did you know that college is not the answer to life, there are plenty of good opportunities if you are smart.

I NEVER went to college because i knew it was a waste of time and money because of the economy, I am now a full time internet marketer and make $5K a week, no bullshit, even though the economy in Australia is great, I decided to not be the government's bitch.

Oh, you take issue? Honey, don't act like you were somehow prescient to this. Getting a degree was sound advice until the economy crashed and mid-career professionals who lost their jobs were all of a sudden competing with fresh college graduates. STEM fields remain lucrative and unsaturated, so obviously this is the route that makes sense now. But don't condescend those who went through college under the guise of the old advice, only to have the misfortune to graduate into the Great Recession.

You are absolutely correct. The problem is that many students are unaware of the need to research, especially in this economy, and select majors that will secure a profession especially one that will pay off the loans. The universities don't tell u this when u sign up at all
