Joe's POV: I walked home silently. Oh gosh Demi is the sweetest girl ever. If only she knew the truth.... But I'm not ready to tell her... and I don't think she's ready to know... I came in and I saw my father on the swivel lounge chair. "Joseph..." his voice intimidating. "Hi Dad. I'm sorry Im late I-" "What did I say you should call me?" "Sir or Father." "And how did you greet me?" he crossed his arms. "I did not greet you that way," I looked down. "Tell me Joseph, why were you late? Your brothers seem to know how to tell time..." "Sir I'm Sorry. Sir I left the party to take a walk on the beach." I dare not speak of Demi. If he knew, who knows what would happen "Well then TAKE THIS-" Sir slapped me across the face. I stood front and center, holding in the pain and tears. "Don't you ever break your curfew again or you won't ever leave this house ever!" "Yes Sir." "Now get the hell outta here!" I raced upstairs with my hand glued to my burning cheek and tears flowing out of my eyes. I plopped down on my bed and silently cried. Soon enough Kevin tapped on my door and popped his head in. "Hey. You alright?" "Yeah..." I turned to face him. "I heard some noise. Decided to see if you were OK." Kevin came in and sat on the corner of my bed. "I got slapped for breaking curfew..." "I'm sorry. We were going to get you, but we couldn't find you, and when we came home without you, I got slapped for not being responsible for you and Frankie...." "I'm sorry you got in trouble because of me, I was taking a walk with- um..." "Who? Joe?" Kevin nudged me. "No... it's no one, just a girl.... the most amazing girl ever." I added under my breath. "What?" "No one- can we just talk about this later Kev? Im really tired." "OK sure what ev. You get some sleep. Goodnight." Kevin left and I got ready for bed. Thinking of Demi, I quickly drifted to sleep.

Demis POV: I went inside and dropped my jaw. The house was a mess. No even bigger it looked like a tornado, hurricane, earthquake, and a tsunami hit all at the same time! It was unbelievable. Every platter plate and bowl was bare. MAN, Klondike kids are PIGS!!! Uh-oh, I hear Miley, if she sees me shell be mad that Im not upstairs. I rushed upstairs and dove through my bedroom door, closing it behind me. There I saw Selena. She's asleep. She must have fallen asleep reading. The lights were still on and her book was next to her. I tip toed into the bathroom to change. I came out and took Sel's book and set it on her night stand, turned out the lights and tried to fall asleep. I dreamt of Joe. Gosh, he is so sweet. I bet he has a great family with parents who actually care or are even around. Hes the angel from above....

someone should see Joe or one of the boys get abused and then their dad gets put into jail.

and, I think he will because he likes her so much and trusts her.

and, I think they're gonna vacation to the same place and then the Carter's will here the Jameson's dad screaming and yelling and abusing on of them and then he's gonna get thrown in jail and have to live with them.

Wow you think everything is happening so fast..... Joe kevin and Frankie have a mom... a very nice one... who doesn't know that she has a husband who hurts the kids. It's kinda hard to explain,b/c mrs. jameson knows that mr. jameson get mad at them, and occasionally hits them, but she doesn't know about the beating....
