I think Mongrels fails on uncountable occasions. I went thru an episode it was the biggest waste of time. The jokes don't even need to be centred around characters that are dogs and foxes etc. All the characters are unrelatable making it very unaturally written. Random pointlessness also shows up in the script like in the ep I saw Nelson says "What the rock"...surely he read the script wrong. The random musicals adds nothin and it in no way matches the mighty boosh as the mighty boosh is "FUNNY"

@nonstoplozzer I did say I wasn't going to review the plot just the humour. Also I did reference them to Family guy in the fact the the joke are a bit random and out of place but that just makes me enjoy the humour even more as it is completely unpredictable, and in my opinion I think the music does add something to most of the shows in the way that reminds me of 'The Young Ones' but because it isn't pop songs it doesn't ruin the comic pacing. finally yes in a show with so many references and in

Yeah Mongrels wasn't good. I watched the first 2 eps and it sucked. You should review Misfits - that's quality!

@grantsnake Fair enough man I just think all those comedies u brought up just then: Young ones, Mighty Boosh and family guy are all kind of classics in their different styles of humour and Mongrels doesn't match up to them I also notice some of the smaller details in their script writing cos I am a script writer myself
