TTC Bus #196 Trip Dufferin-Downsview Nov 21-09

Nov 2-09: As we head southbound on a #196 bus on Dufferin St to Downsview Station, we see a number of cars where they are not supposed to be in the first place. Time TTC gets permission to ticket these cars from a camera mounted at the front of the bus. Traffic lights is still an issue.

the cars did nothing wrong as long as they have 3 people in the car. it is a carpool and bus lane.

Most cars don't have 3 in the first place.

They should repaint the lanes so that the HOV would shift over to the left. Else, give the HOV lane true priority so that bus could cross the Sheppard intersection and move to the left, while the rest of the southbound sits.
