  • THANK YOU for your posts! I too have MS and previous back surgery. I am having my trail implant in two days and it's so nice to be able to view these and watch your journey and your honesty! How are you today and how is your MS ?

  • @Bibzzee - Bobrobert passed away last year. The doctors were never able to reign in the pain he was feeling.

Best of luck with the SCS trial. Supposedly when it works, it works really well.

  • SCS was only mildly effective for BR's severe leg pain due to primary progress multiple sclerosis. Not enough to move forward with a permanent implant. Still on heavy opioids.

  • I am so sorry to hear this. When I was researching for my SCS his videos were invaluable. Peace x

  • I was really touch by your devotion to BR. It saddens me to know that he is no longer here. I just hope that you are doing ok.

  • How was Your experience.good or bad?

  • The spinal cord stimulators didn't work for me, the lead kept shifting and my legs would feel like I was being jabbed with an ice pick. Go with the pump.

  • I was a lucky patient that had a Dr. that worked 4 hours to find the proper locations for the temporary leads. on one occasion i had the very same situation you refer to about the squeezing in your leg. He replaced the lead in a different location along my spine and it was like a lightswitch had been turned on. I felt the vibrations in exactly the locations of my pain. I am awaiting my perm. stimulator in a few days....8-27-2010

  • Thanks for your posts; it gave me a little more insight into what to expect during my SCS trial.

  • how did your neuro stimulation trial go? Did you decide to get the permanent implant done? Also, were you able to come off your pain meds?
