I don't agree with Jim Demint on everything, but I could never disagree with an official asking for time to read the legislation he is voting on.
As a CA native I can honestly say that Barbara Boxer and her like rely on liberal media outlets to gloss them over as pro-women/minority/education and good for the economy. They don't give a damn when she is passing legislation neither the citizens nor the legislature has read.
Oh and Babs, cough away from the mic when you're on national tv.

You can tell by 5:15 that DeMint is getting frusterated with Feinstein, and quite frankly, I don't blame him.

Feinstein,should be thrown out of office,for objecting to a correct procedure that establishes a bill.There needs to be a law that stops any amendments to a bill once it's in debate.

I'd suggest that Mr. Demint run for president, but those of us here in South Carolina don't want to lose him.

I'm a democrat, but I believe DeMint's proposal was a good one, and Feinstein was just upset that DeMint had proposed an amendment earlier in the year that stopped the spinach farms in CA, from hiring illegal immigrants as well as the spinach farms that produced the E. Coli infected spinach, another smart and logical move by DeMint. Feinstein needs to grow up and allow the Illegals to go through the necessary procedures. Kudos to the Chairman (Whitehouse)for being patient.
