@FeminaReal so is the BBC the only network? Your networks aren't funded by sponsors and advertisors? You know like Fox, ABC, NBC,CW etc etc--owned by WarnerBros or Disney etc, sponsored by Busch Beer, Clorox Bleach etc...?

Yes, everyone with a TV has to have license. The revenue from it helps to fund the BBC.

So that line by Heirrick confuses me. Do Brits need licenses to have TVs? Is that the same as a cable bill?

@eilrahc101 They ruin the show with the last episode, barely makes sense. The head vampire decides that he suicide by having the werewolf kill him, because somehow this means HE wins. Eh? Rubbish.

I realise tht now because of @bulletcookiegirls explaination in town. I missed the pilot episode so I asumed tht it was series 1. my bad!
I am in America and i actually watched season one all in one day on BBC America. and i was hooked. i could not leave the television and to my surprise and absolutely delight neither could my brother. he is usually icky about certain shows and series but to find he liked this show was brilliant.
