It's hard to say with a medium that requires so many hands. How closely did you direct the camera work and editing? I loved the closeup around 1:14. The overall effect is quite powerful - I wouldn't worry about the blood business, it was quite bloody enough. I would have avoided positionings where it looked as if he could disarm her with a flick of the wrist. But maybe that was your intention - it does set up a kind of interesting uncertainty.
