  • Blue Man Group copies the idea. Interestingly, Depeche Mode opens the song "stripped" with the old engine sounds, about the same time I saw an antique engine show , the song was released. Since then I've been a fan of those old engines, and that sound.

  • Old engines sure had more distinct sounds than the new ones do now.

  • That's very quiet considering it's dual straight pipes and apparently large displacement. Lovely sound and an amazing engine.

  • That's most likely a pre-merger Bessemer. Cooper and Bessemer didn't merge until 1929.

  • Sounds like something out of a Warner Bros. cartoon with that "tuned exhaust!"
