Super Mario Bros. 2 Walkthrough: World 3-1

Here is my walkthrough of World 3-1 of Super Mario Bros. 2. I will upload the various worlds one at a time as I played through the entire game. I'm breaking it up because youtube doesn't allow video uploads of more than 10 minutes.

Though I just would have fought Birdo with his or her eggs if I was you and not used the mushroom blocks.

I wanted to give him a "balanced diet", LOL!! The ones in Worlds 5-2 & 5-3 can have other stuff thrown at them too (Trouter, Beezo, Shyguy, Ninji, etc).

It's nice to see an "ordinary" playthrough of this game. No speedrunning, no tool-assistance, just playing. It's not my favorite of the Mario games, and I've only beaten it once on NES, but seeing this makes me want to play it again, and maybe come to like it as much as I like the others. :)

@wtcvidman The one in 5-2 can have a Trouter thrown at it and the one in 5-3 can have Pidgits, Snifits, Shyguys and Beezos and large vegetables thrown at it.

Still, it's funny you wanted to give him (or her) a 'balanced diet'! Although the ones on 5-2 and 5-3 can have generic enemies thrown at them, the one on 4-2 can ONLY have its eggs thrown at it; I only use mushroom blocks on the GREEN Birdos.

The original instruction manual of the game said "He thinks he is a girl and he spits eggs from his mouth. He'd rather be called 'birdetta' ". So I don't know what the following games did, but as far as this game goes, Birdo is a dude (like a crossdresser).
