  • Jeff, your brilliance is amazing. I love how you play straight from your heart! The only sounds you create are those which express your innermost being, your unique self. This is the mark of a true artist. You never compromise in order to appeal to a wider audience- you just do your own thing, and that I appreciate. My musical approach is the same exact way (though in a totally different form of lead-bass art)- no compromise, just pure ME in sonic form!

Keep up the great work, Jeff.

  • This is amazingly beautiful... really inspires me to try some software processing again (I've been kind of an "effects minimalist" lately).

  • Your immense creativity inspires me, thank you for sharing your gift.

  • yeah.

  • What software do you usually use?

  • Amazing playing, Mr. Schmidt. You've consistently given me something to aspire to. =)

  • it's a MTD 535 American.

    Moody strap

the ergo on this combo rulz!

  • That's an MTD K5 right? I'm absolutely in love with MTD basses! Quick and possibly stupid question, do you use a certain strap or strap lock system? Because I can never get my MTD to sit just right like that, the neck's a wee bit too heavy and takes a small plunge whenever I let go. Thanks for the upload Jeff, your music is absolutely inspirational!!!
