BEADY EYE - 'MILLIONAIRE'

The video for 'Millionaire' was shot in Spain on a day off between Beady Eye's recent Milan and Madrid gigs and traces a coastal road between Cadaqués and Figueres, taking in a Salvador Dali pilgrimage en route.

Andy told us:

'The song 'Millionaire' was written in 2007. I wrote it after a trip to Spain. It was springtime, it was still snowing in Sweden, and I happened to be talking to my mate Iain, who I know from years back in Oxford. He'd moved out to Barcelona a few years before, and he just said get yourself over here for a week...'

'Millionaire' is released on May 2nd on limited edition numbered 7" vinyl and digital download. The single comes with live favourite 'Man Of Misery'. The digital bundle comes with the video, which will also be available to buy separately.

I don't get why so many people are pro-Noel OR pro-Liam, personally I think both of their bands are amazing and are both producing brilliant music and yes, I would love an Oasis reunion, but until that day comes I'm very happy listening to their solo projects, I do think that both band's music is of Oasis quality. MAD FER IT!!!

@ROCKSOLID19 i agreed, but man, you just can't say that Little James is a "priceless masterpiece" ! this song is maybe one of the worst Oasis song! Liam wrote some fantastic songs like I'm outta time, Boy with the blues, Songbird, Soldier On...but not Little James!

Anyway, Beady Eye and High Flying Birds are awesome!

@dankitch27 I absolutly and totally agree. The reason why most people are like that is because Noel was the genius songwriter and brains of Oasis, also the only person keeping Liam in line and in check. Liam was the genius frontman who is also a good songwriter e.g. Songbird and Little James are priceless masterpieces but Noel has spent alot of his life, even before Oasis keeping control of Liam. When you reach a certain age you don't want anymore of that.
