Singer-songwriter Ben Folds will be at the Meyerson Symphony Center on Wednesday and will be backed by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The musician has a legion of devoted fans of all ages and tickets are just $35. Other musical performances this week include rockers Widespread Panic at the Gexa Energy Pavilion Friday nigh and Grammy Award winner R. Kelly with Keyshia Cole at Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie on Sunday.

Comedian and host of her own late-night talk show, Chelsea Handler, will be at the Verizon Theatre on Saturday. Tickets for her show start at $59.50 and are available online. Handler is one of the nation's fastest-rising female stand-ups and performs to sold out -out audiences across the nation.

Billy Elliot, the story of one young boy's journey to make his dreams come true, is at the Winspear Opera House this Tuesday through Sunday. The musical has won countless awards, including ten Tony Awards and tickets start at $30.

The Dallas Childrens Theater presents "The Pied Piper's Magic" this weekend. The play re-imagines this familiar folktale to create a friendly, colorful and joyful story. Tickets for the all ages show are just $14.

The funniest show on earth, Monty Python's Spamalot, is back in Dallas at the Music Hall at Fair Park Tuesday through Sunday. The winner of the 2005 Tony® Award for Best Musical, tells the tale of King Arthur, his Knights of the Round Table and their quest for the Holy Grail. Tickets start at just $15.

Other events to check out include Strikeforce at the American Airlines Center, Oliver! At the Irving Arts Center and Guys & Dolls at the Repertory Company Theatre.
