@Dombowerphoto haha so true. Maybe it wasn't a good thing Canon made the 5DMkII with video. Canon is already producing a professional grade Full Frame video camera. It actually has all the inputs, outputs, bells and whistles the real broadcasters need.

I have a 5d mark 2 and you can get up the 25600 iso by simply pressing and scrolling the iso button

lol, I can no longer respect your gear opinion;P a true photographer bases their equipment preferences on if the camera can take photos. Not throw-ins designed for the "pro-sumer" market. If you are a PHOTOGRAPHER looking to buy a real camera, get the D700, great tonality and handles high ISO better than any hi-res camera. Including other Nikons. @Dombowerphoto not a clue haha. I think I was saying photographers stay with cameras and videographers stay with camcorders. People are basing reviews on fluff. Real photojournalists need the bare essentials and the fluff just adds price. I just got a used D700... none of this D800 bologna.

@RoundTheBendFilms unfortunatly i dont think there is going to be a dslr made again which wont have video function. Video is here and it is here to stay. many photographers are having to become videographers at the same time as produce images. Having it all in one body that you know how to work is better than lugging around a pro video camera and having to chop and change from platforms. one day we will all be phodeographers
