Pirates quit ship after ransom paid

It's reported that Somali pirates have begun leaving an arms-laden cargo ship after a ransom of $3.2 million was paid on Wednesday. The Faina, a Ukrainian-registered vessel, was captured off the coast of Kenya in September.

The Ukrainian government is a pile of shit. It took them five months to contemplate human life over money? This conflict could have ended the second the alternatives were exhausted. They probably stalled for so long to draw the attention away, because they knew they were involved in illegal trafficking of weapons and tanks.
