A group of "wild" konik horses decided they wanted to be on the other side from where we were standing resulting in a nice run by. This happend during a school excursion (coastal zone management).
Konik horses are used in preventing succession of bushes and trees in the Lauwersmeer national park. This results in a low (as in height) vegetation habitat preferred by the many species of birds feeding, breeding and resting in this habitat.
Sorry about the wind sound quality!
