The plastic dashboards were safe and padded but this dash is safe and padded AND looks good and luxurious too!

That's one of the coolest looking dashboards I've seen! Gm has really improved with their looks since the ugly plastic dashboards of the 90's.

I test drove this car today. I was impressed with it's improved quality. But I don't think it quite satifies me for buying.

Some new info: A six-speed auto is now standard on all Malibu models for the 2009 model year. This boosts the base 2.4L ECOTEC I-4 to 32 MPG, better than camry or accord. The '09 Malibu is now a class leader in fuel economy.

Is that why Top Gear (whom are PAID BIG MONEY to talk about cars) say that the F-150 is the best selling auto worldwide? At any rate just because a car is best selling dosen't mean it is the best of all time.
