@Xanerithe Unfortunately, we'll have to wait for a revival or a sequel. There were a lot of wonderful assets in AC2. I'd love to see the game restored under the free-to-play model of DDO and LOTRO. I think it would do well.

I don't have any videos of my happy times, just fading memories, thankyou this unedited footage helps bring back happy times, heavenly. No game has ever come close to the tranquility I felt in this game. I often dream of the servers coming back, or a single player version released so I can have a taste of heaven again.

@Shukie6174 This is true, to some extent. I know from experience there are a couple of hidden areas a determined explorer could get to, and with the latest expansion, they now allow you to use flying mounts on all the continents. Which, is a boon for people who enjoy exploring.. That's the boat I'm in.

Then they should rehost the game! Perhaps making AC2 as a subscription bonus for other games(I have a ddo account with VIP status which I rarely touch.

@firiuskwan I'd love to see this happen. Have it as a bonus for VIP status on LOTRO or DDO. I don't know how interested Warner Bros. is in the Asheron's Call franchise, though.

AC2 is one of the old games that I am so willing to pay to play again if they ever set up a server again.
Love the guild system and level system. At least they should make the server downloadable so someone can host it.......

@firiuskwan Unfortunately, the engine Dungeons & Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online was based off the same engine for Asheron's Call 2. For that reason, Turbine doesn't want to release the server-side code.

@vycon88 Yeah. It was a little bit of a bummer than you had to farm to advance with the best gear.
