  • city is designed by norman foster.. ! he's done some amazing work in London and needs to be commissioned all over the planet, seeing as no one seems to have a clue as yet about sustainable resources!

  • The main idea of Masdar city came from Jaque Fresco 40 years ago ! It just has been implemented by other architectual companies

  • iRobot Audi car at 1:15 :)

  • @texasboy5680 thanks for the explanation :)

  • @hypermoro prototypes are working models........ that are built........The most common use of the word prototype is a functional, although experimental model....since masdar city is one of a kind and using technology never incorporated on a city scale b4 I used the word prototype. if it was an existing city and then utilized this technology it would be a model city using green energy, but since it's built entirely from the ground up utilizing green technology it is then called a prototype city.

  • @texasboy5680 i agree with u although it's not a prototype, it's already under construction.

  • I think this is an amazing city and hopefully a prototype for more to come. I live in Dallas...7 million ppl spread out so much it is one of largest urban sprawls in the country and I think that if we continue living like this we are gonna have MAJOR problems in the future...If we want to continue living in another 50 -100 yrs, our only choice might have to b livin n green cities like this.
