Stair Landing Damage from Cement Pavers

http://stairs4u.com/stairdonts/stair_don.htm Whenever I see something like this, it reminds me of something that a inexperienced construction worker or home repair handyman might have done, to cover up some stair landing damage. Whatever the original reason was for installing these concrete tiled pavers over this stair landing, it really doesn't matter, the damage is already done. Think twice before doing something like this with out installing the correct waterproofing over the wood stair landing. Sometimes these ideas sound good and really make a lot of sense, but end up creating big problems in the future.
