The G8 Feast while 1 out of 6 people in the world go hungry

During the G8 feast in L'Aquila more than 1,000 children in poor countries will die of hunger. Ending hunger needs to top the G8 menu. This Oxfam Big Heads stunt shows the G8 world leaders enjoying a big Italian meal.

Climate change is already hitting poor people the hardest, despite them emitting the least amount of carbon and therefore being the least responsible. Oxfam is calling for a fair and adequate deal which cuts emissions in line with what the science demands and provides the funding poor countries need to adapt to a changing climate. Oxfam estimates that $ 50 billion a year is needed.

Lolz. Now I understand the talking heads on PBS and Sunday morning talk shows slamming oxfam at the G8! Excellent work giving voice to the voiceless. Too bad today's megarich folks don't really get bourgeois stunts. They sit atop a pyramid that is too big to fail.

fantastic!! thanks Oxfam for your clear message!! global issues are linked with one another; we need to look into our activities & the way we live our lives & take care (or not) of our planet.. world leaders have to take action; we elected them to run our countries & that way this whole planet.. they have to start acting instead of just pretending to do so.. the global hunger problem will only increase if climate change deteriorates more and more regions.. thanks for being these for our planet!

bella l'idea di deridere i " grandi " facendo capire alla gente che mentre loro si abbuffano come porci, fuori c'e' gente che ancora mangia con quello che gli preparano quei " supereroi " dei volontari quotidianamente. E' veramente vergognoso. E un meritatissimo VAFFANCULO anche da parte dei sardi che si sono visti costruire opere per il g8 e che ora sono rimaste incompiute il tutto per la modica cifra di 350 milioni di euro, quante case si potevano costruire a l'aquila? scusate lo sfogo.
