A new boss added to the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia, the Wandering Skeleton, who shows up instead of those lousy ghost monsters in order to have a proper boss for the ghost ship.
Holy crap, this fight was fun. It's too easy on Normal, but on Hard it's just the right length and difficulty. The interesting thing is how his big size makes him easy to combo, as you can see several times, but that big size also means his attack radius is HUGE and it's really hard to dodge. On top of that, he can outrun Yuri, which means running away when he goes Over Limit isn't as effective as it is against other bosses! But he's not grossly overpowered (or maybe he is, and I'm just overleveled); it was the perfect balance of fun and challenge - and on top of that, it's a frickin' zombie skeleton pirate! How much more awesome can you get?!
The music that plays ingame is actually the Giganto Monster theme. Didn't like it, so I edited in this song, which is the theme that plays when you fight this boss again later in the game; it's called "Lost Memories". Think I did a halfway-decent job, but the mp3 was short, so I apologize for any skips that you may notice.
First playthrough; Level 27 (Yuri); Hard Mode.
Enjoy!
@divinityzoo On Vesperia PS3, Yuri Flynn Patty and Judith are all used at a balanced rate it seems
