The Ivoriesman/Roland Rock partnership present this fantastic fun Rock and Roll number composed by Neil and his song writing partner Howie Greenfield. Great quirky lyrics in this song about a young man searching for a flat (or appartment - depending on which side of the pond you live). This track was the flip-side to 'The Diary' - sadly the record failed to make the chart in the UK.

  • @wordsmith52 Yes 1960 was the last UK 78. As far as I know, the last EMI 78 was Russ Conway's 'Royal Event'. (also posted). Thanks for listening,

  • Nice. This must have been one of the last pop 78s released in UK - wasn't 1960 the last year?

  • @pyestudiocolour This one was never really played all that much back then. Perhaps he should have re-released it once his popularity went 'skyward' after Oh Carol.

    Thanks Neil.

  • A terrific record from a real legend! I've never heard it before, I must admit!
