I've been able to get my iPod into DFU mode before, but whatever I do it will not work. I know the other methods, but they don't work. Whenever my iPod screen turns off, it just instantly resets itself and turns back on. Limera1n & Greenpois0n have the same problem. I can't enter DFU mode on them, and I've recovered my iPod at least 6 times by now. If anyone could help me figure out what's wrong please let me know.
I know you're only supposed to hold it for 10 seconds but it never turns off sooo yeah.

  • well from my experience i learned that it was a physical defect and that my power/hold button was actually out of place. I basically budged it back into place and finally got it to work.
