Tagalog is our national language and we can speak english too. While 'filipino' is the term for the people living in the philippines. i think it should be Tagalog for dummies. :)) lito much sir ?

ok to those idiots who are confused about what language filipinos speak here's your answer filipino is not a language it's a nationality asking a filipino if he/she speaks filipino is like asking a mexican if you speak mexican.

we filipinos are also using spanish words for some reason. some of us are using the numerical term of spanish words for money.
It's confusing. Some Filipino says it's Tagalog, some says it's Filipino. Really, what's the official language of the Philippines? What's it's called?

@Cameronpoe1015 Filipino is a modified version of Tagalog where it was derived. Tagalog is a dialect while Filipino is the name of the national language. I might do another version about this topic when I am not busy :D
