An Appalachian dulcimer (e.g., mountain dulcimer) instrumental recorded over a series of late night wind-downs. The dulcimer is tuned GDC.Tars Tarkas is a character from Edgar Rice Borroughs' Barsoom series, by the way.

Nice. I enjoyed it. Not sure what it has to do with Tars Tarkas, but it's always nice to meet another fan.
I wonder, what sort of instrument would a Thark play? I'd have to imagine that they slay on drums.
