Each episode features the main character going on ACTUAL, REAL, UNSCRIPTED job interviews (see part 2 for that scene)!

PLAIN AWFUL is a subtle, sublime sitcom about Gerard Plain -- can't find a job, can't settle on a girl, and has a roommate with multiple personalities. And there's more: in each episode Gerard would go on a real-life, actual, non-scripted job interview. And, since he's kind of an ass, he'll say things you should never say on a job interview. Please note: the character "Angie" is meant to be in his 50s -- the very talented actor (Rocco George) was about 25 years younger. The comedy IS politically incorrect but never mean-spirited. Filmed on virtually no budget and rushed into production (meaning we had no rehearsal for the scripted scenes) for a TV Pilot festival here in New York. I hope you enjoy it!
