first of all, whats the point of building this clock? to show time? hahaha thn it defeat the purpose of having our own watches. Or indicate the time to Solat? thn it defeat the purpose of the Azan. @6Stargazer Well might mean a lot for some people. And as Tawfeeq... something wrote, this is an achievement. Also to prove that you can build something like that. Like the Burj Dubai. Burj Dubai might be some kind of a showoff building, but I´m 100 % sure that someone is feeling very proud about it. I´m pretty sure that I would get some goosebumps if I stood next to one of these two buildings. But I´m pretty easy to impress, because I live in Denmark without any big buildings og mountains

@6Stargazer The point of building a clock is giving islam a place in the world. its not just a clock its an atomic clock, a time keeper, it broadcasts the exact time signal, its a reference point its TIME, and that is important to us, dont be naive, when we go back to the time of the horses then you can have the strongest horse, in this era this is an achievement

أخي انا مفتخر بهذا لأن اولا هذه اطول برج ساعة في العالم كله وثانيا عندما يأذن المسجد الحرام الساعة تلمع بليزر لكي المسافرين بالطريق الذي يوصل بين الطائف وجدة يرون انه دخل وقت الاذان ويتوقفون عند اي مسجد ويصلون فيه وايضا برمضان يرون الساعة تلمع وقت الاذان ثم يدخل موعد الافطار للبعيدين عن المساجد بالطريق

وايضا الساعة سووها للصم الي مايسمعون شي للي مايسمعون الاذان يرون الساعة تلمع فيعرفون انه دخل وقت الاذان
