ECB's Mike Gatting and England Women's Jenny Gunn were at the Willows Sports Centre in Derby to launch its new indoor cricket facilities.

Gatting said: "Indoor cricket gives people of any age, gender or ability the chance to play cricket all-year-round."

  • @TopShelfShit Yeah, my indoors was full length.

  • Dont like the fact that you only run half the wicket either. We have to run the normal length indoor. Plus you can be caught off side walls. Along the ground to the back wall is 6 and in the air is 4, so the opposite.

  • SOFT Ball? When I played indoor cricket last year it was a Hockey-style ball. That wasn't fecking soft!
