Awesome job! When I was about your age, I started playing bass. I told some kids in my class about my new hobby, and they all laughed at me, saying "Girls can't play bass guitar!" and cruel things like that. They made me feel so embarrassed that I stopped playing. I regret giving it up, I wish I had kept playing even though they made fun of me. Hopefully your friends give you more support than I received, but even if they don't, don't give up playing! You are truly talented, way to go!

@beachcomber614 - @beachcomber614 - Oh no! Start playing again! If you love it, get back to playing. My friends and family completely support my love for the bass. The only negative remarks I get seem to be mainly on YouTube from males and usually ones my age. They never say the 'girl' thing, but they are the rude ones!!! :) I don't let it stop me, and you should't either. Get back at it!!

@pglewis25 - I learn/play and figure out songs by ear. I seldom find tabs that are accurate throughout a song but sometimes if I get stuck at some part, refering to tabs might get me in the right general direction!
