EFT with Kids with Cancer - Empowering The Lives of Children

http://www.oaxacaproject.com - Deborah D Miller has been applying Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and other energy techniques at the Hospital General Dr Aurelio Valdivieso del Estado de Oaxaca, Mexico in order to help children with cancer.

Deborah began volunteering in the childrens cancer ward September 14, 2007, applying EFT and other energy techniques to the children, parents and nurses to help them reduce stress, fear and anxiety and improve their mental and emotional health.

With the children and parents she uses the TappyBear seen in this video as a delightful tool to help them remember to tap, to help them feel comforted and cared for. When Deborah receives donations for the TappyBears she is able to give these children in need a delightfully warm and cuddly helper to feel better. The overall idea is to improve the quality of life of those involved in the cancer ward. The success has been significant thereby leading Deborah to the desire of expanding this support by doing indepth research with the children with cancer and publishing the results and expand her services to the rest of the hospitals patients and staff along with the support of Dr. Armando Quero Hernandez, the doctor in charge of the childrens cancer ward and in other hospitals around the world.
