I'm really kicking myself for not purchasing this album from Barnes & Noble online for $12 3 or 4 yrs ago. Now the CD is out of print, hard to find & outrageously expensive. I wish iTunes had this album or the song but it doesn't. Sad!

Yep, I also have this on vinyl from 1977! Another of my all time fav songs...and yes I too saw Max open for Rush a few times, and to this day still love the Webster shit! Yes, Canadian Rock Bands have indeed made some timeless amazing music for the Ages!!!

@alkimst13 - Ah, where has the time gone? I also saw Rush ( for the life of me I can't remember the tour) but I do remember that Max Webster was the opening act. I have to tell you ( hopefully not in a weird way) that to this day I still enjoy Kim Mitchell and old Max and Rush!

@Tull29 i've got it also. saw FM with Rush on the Moving Pictures tour in Oakland (i believe it was that tour). My wife was pregnant with my daughter and delivered the next day. Great show.

@alkimst13 - I saw FM backing up Saga (before Saga made it) in a very small venue in Ottawa, Canada. FM was the better of the two bands as Saga had to halt their set after blowing out half their audio system. That had to be sometime in the mid to late seventies.
I agree, this Canadian band had the talent to make it big but as I recall I think there was a dispute with their label and that was the end of FM. I would have been around 17 or 18. I have "Black Noise" on vinyl.

I remember being about 18, dropping acid and listening to these guys and Rush's Hemispheres. In hindsight, it must have been canadian bands that made me want to take acid??? great song. as we all know, they shoulda made the big time. great talent.

I've got this album, in a milk carton, up in my attic.
Love this band...1st year of college - so many memories.

This is a terrific song. Much appreciated, Seven.

I had this album back in college and everyone who heard it was like "who are these guys?". Terrific stuff, which unfortunately seemed to get weaker with each succeeding album.

Yet another great Canadian band. No one sounded like them. This whole album is brilliant. Great musicians. That seems to be consistent with Canadians bands at that time. Great musicianship. Another band I thought should have been bigger.

Back in '85 some of us played a few records over the PA system at high school during the lunch hour. One day, I started the lunch with this tune.
It seemed the whole school went to the DJ booth afterwards. Everyone loved this song, but nobody knew what it was, so they came to ask me.
