This was the premier event of 2007, as the Church of God In Christ celebrated 100 years in Memphis at the FexEx Center in November. President Bush sends a video speech, but the climatic event was the C. H. Mason Memorial choir singing Hallelujah!
Wow!

  • Did you ever stop to think that he could, and for certain, was reading from a prepared statement, written by someone in the church? Think about that for a minute.

  • @schoolgyrl6

    I agree!!

  • @5111pt

    I agree!

  • Im so proud to have been brought up in C.H Mason Memorial C.O.G.I.C here in Norfolk, VA this video is simply amazing!!! what they kNow about a 300+ member choir!!!? PRAISE HIM!

  • i love that whole outfit that karen has on

  • I know that Bishop Patterson was proud

  • @rocslocs i dont think it was out of place, u jus have to have a sense of humor sometimes. "Livinglife" never said Blacks were the ONLY race to know how to praise the lord, now THAT would've been wrong. She(He) jus made a statement, and she's right, we do lol!

  • A moment I can honestly say: I was PROUD to be there. When we celebrated 100 years straight Sang Dorinda and Karen.

  • christ is neither black nor white so the comment black folks know how to praise the Lord is so out of place for us all to be children of God

  • I just love havin Church!!, COGIC, Pentecostal, Baptist, Apostolic, Non-Denominational, etc., at the end of the day, we serve the same God so that makes us all brothers, & sisters in Christ Jesus, as for me, I dont discriminate. I have the church on the inside of me so I can go to a Nondenominational church to hear the word and turn around and go to a COGICand praise God with the best of em. Love the way yall praise God.
