Should the power cable go from your CB straight to your battery with the fuse as close to your battery as possible.
If you coil a power cable you will create an electromagnetic field and the cable will get hot.

@longboardking101 When your hunting in the woods, there is no toilet paper... Go figure. The screws for the cb came in the package so i had to buy the zip ties separately so not "going cheaply"...

i just bought a cb radio from ebay, and my has a green wire, and idk what that is. Could you tell me what that is when u get a chance pls?

@Demisk859 if the other wire is black then your green wire is your positive wire.

hey, I just bought my first CB and I have a question. I know you speak into mic but is that where you listen from also or do you need to hook a speaker up to the cb. I bought it used so there are no directions. thanks for any help

@lesliesmanjeff you cant try an external speaker, but if that doesnt work youll have to buy a new one i think. The sound comes out of a speaker in the bottom of a unit usually.
