Brian Cox as Stryker was the reason Wolverine movie failed. If I was a mutant with superior powers, like Wolverine, I'd be be scared of him. Such superior acing powers to all the rest of the cast, Chilling.

@TF2Fan101 If youve seen X men first class, Azazel would have done a better job.

By far the best film out of the X-Men series. Marvel Studios has come along way since starting out with Blade. I hear they're doing a Luke Cage movie now with Tyrese. That'd be awesome if they did it with Nic Cage; that's where he got his last name from anyway. I love Nic Cage! So excited to see him in his next film Trespass! Just saw the trailer and it looks SO GOOD! bitly. com/qN22Cm

booboo in this particular x-men = hank mccoy (beast) still is human on the tv lookie box
I'm a Marvel, but these people making these movies are really really dumb. and the people that watch them, are probably even dumber. so whats even the point of making anymore of these crap. They butcher the story then butcher the story they just made. The only thing I wished they did change was to make the mutant population a secret or something gay like that, so its more realistic and all mysterious.

@GoongalaGoongala Really? Not timeless? This franchise gave birth to the superhero films. After the success of X-Men, multiple studious started buying the rights to comics. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight would not be what they were if Singer did not try to bring realism into these films.
Yes, They introduced the Dark Phoenix very well in X2. Actually, I didn't think Superman Returns was bad, way better than Green Lantern.

@99juj What Singer did was attempt to set up an adaptation of the Phoenix Saga, a storyline that was all about Jean Grey, and is considered one of the greatest Comic Book storylines of all time. After Singer left they botched it royally, but that is why there was a focus on Jean in the 2nd film. Storm in the comics was absolutely a "strong" lady, both in her elemntal powers and her will. In the mid 80's she was briefly depowered and actually bested Cyclops for leadership of the X-Men.

Hopefully Marvel Studios gets the rights to the X-Men back and reboots the franchise. Same goes for Daredevil. As far as I'm concerned Daredevil is perfectly suited to be made into a Dark Knight-esque epic. King Fu Crime Drama all the way, the first Daredevil film missed the mark for the most part. I'd like to see them try again. Hell if they somehow could get Nolan to hop on a Daredevil reboot, that'd be awesome in so many ways. Imagine what he could do with a character and setting like that.

@Scoonertuna Singer's X-Men movies were alright, but hardly timeless or classics. I have no doubt that X-Men could be done better, especially if Marvel Studios had control over the movie franchise instead of Fox. To be fair though, Singer did build up the introduction of the Phoenix Saga well, but when he left they totally botched it and IMO absolutely killed the franchise. Whats sad is he left for Superman Returns, a complete turd of a superhero fick.
