Probably because all soaps, no matter how much it's suppose to be for sensitive or dry skin or whatever, is still a bit drying to your skin. So after you put on moisturizer, then you can see the results.

My face also feels tight when i use dove soap (or any type of soap)..but then when i put lotion on, my skin feels smooth and fresh, rather then tight! maybe you should try that!

ha seriously, after numerous dermatologist visits, the pill is the only thing that's completely cleared my skin :)

Figuring out your skin type isn't real rocket science, thankfully. You should just be able to recall if you have particularly dry or oily skin, or if you have normal skin. If you have sensitive skin you would know from use of other products. Pick the one that seems to suit you best!

hey Amy, I've actually used those Dove soap whips that you had mentioned. But, when I used them before and ran it through water the soap didn't really foam up that much and sometimes it didn't foam up @ all. Which was a waste of the product. So, do you have any suggestions on how I can get the foam???? please let me know. Thank You!!!

I don't run them under the water because that makes all the soap run off. Instead I quickly pass them under a steady of stream of water and kind of twist them in my hand to make them foam, adding water if and when necessary. Hope this helps!
