Here is another Henry the Dog Commerical from the early 1990s for Herb Adcox Chevrolet. Henry takes dancing lessons. Like most Henry spots, it is shot by Phil Hardison. Bob Deck was really the producer, with Martin Baker as CEO. The Legend Curtis Parham is always the voice of Henry. Henry is dancing with his owner Patty. Who is married to Mike. The dance instructor was the adorable and talented Wendy Nash, of the Knoxville Circle Dance Club. Spinning the records is Don Tonkin. The guy with the beard keeping time is none other than Dave Jeffries who soon after (probably due this this great film) became the Audio Engineer and Producer of University of Tennessee Football with WIVK. Also dancing here, the lovely women with glasses, is Emily Wren. The others are theater actors but I don't know their names. I hastily made the dance chart and the paint was still wet when Henry walks off. Shot near Cherokee Blvd in an apt building meeting room. Henry in real life is an excellent dancer. He dances Tango, Modern, Ballroom, Cha-Cha, Waltz, Rumba, and many more. When we told him we needed him to dance poorly, he took the news bravely. He really wanted to dance well, but it's like on the Andy Griffith show when the script called for Don Knotts to sing poorly. He hated that, too. Just like Henry.
