400x bright-field magnification, lighting at high level with low exposure times, 30fps video taken originally at 1 frame per second (30 seconds of tube growth activity = 1 second of video). Contrast has been enhanced vs the original low-light video by altering gamma settings.

You can clearly see the cytoplasmic streaming involved in pollen tube tip elongation. This tube is completely in-vitro, so unfortunately it can sway a bit and has little growth left to complete before it will die. It also is not fully in focus, which really is unfortunate.
