rolling up a slope physics demo
This demonstration shows the lowering of centre of mass creating the rolling up a slope optical effect!
This is because as it moves up the slope, its centre of mass effectively move from a position of higher potential to a position of lower potential.
Still don't understand?

Ask yourself this question, why does this ball fall lower? It is because the ball is moving from a position of higher potential to a position of lower potential.

Same reason here!!
