the verse is played palm muted, now the verse sounds like a chorus, and the drums are very bad because he's singing

u need a separate singer so the drummer can concentrate on what the song really sounds like.
Hes not at all bad, just has to focus on his instrument.

A word for the drummer, instead of using the crash for the chorus, use the ride. And in the interlude play light ghost notes on the snare while stepping on the kick drum and hi-hat pedal, and then go into the accents. Good cover though.
