I got a full-blooded Pomeranian, with papers, at a shelter. The stats are about a quarter to a third of animals placed in a shelter ARE pure bred. The odds are good that you will good that your local shelter has the exact dog you are looking for, or, you can place yourself on a list until the one you want shows up... don't ask first... LOOK!
They would love to have a real home and family! (without all the barking and excitement going on in the shelter).

Thank you for this wonderful video! I hope that everyone who sees it adopts a shelter animal. I am extremely happy to see the bunnies in the video, because animal rescue goes far beyond cats and dogs. Rabbits are the #3 species found in shelters. Chances are very good that any species you like can be found in a rescue or shelter somewhere. Please try it. If you adopt, you actually save 2 animals: The one you adopt and another who desperately needs that spot in the shelter or rescue.
