  • where did you get the xr80 shocks/ swingarm. PLEASE REPLY

  • @TheMotoEdits I bought the parts off ebay. I think I paid 20-25 for the shocks and about 25 for the swingarm. You need to have the shock mounts on the swingarm moved, so the bike will sit level. You also have to open the space within the swingarm to fit the z50 frame. the z frame is wider then the xr frame. Takes some time but it is easy to do.

  • Very awesome video, recently got myself a jincheng z50. And currently modding her, bought some snowblower tyres and a xr80 swinger from the usa!

Just out of interest, i noticed someone mentioning crf70 forks, are they a straight swap? Basically I know the headstock side of things should all fit, but the rest? Like the brake stopper, and the width of the wheels? I remember having to mod my old road monkeybike hubs to fit it inside BBR sp5 forks (crf50).

    cheers man!

  • @matttess You need to modify the brake plate and wheel hub to fit between the crf70 forks. It isn't that hard and works very well.

  • that looks more like paintball gear thean mx gear cause of the paddings on the side

  • Sold it. I now have an SDG pro mini 125.

  • @mtpratt32 Fantastic, I'm guessing thats just trimming the sides down, rather than moving the brake plate weld yeah?

I'll have to source myself a set soon, once i get my bits from USA. Cheers!

  • how did the xr 70 forks work out for you on the jumps
