A rare studio track from 1968, released on the '77 album, "Caught Live + 5," and the '87 cd, "Prelude."

  • Hadn't heard this for ages..Thanks

  • just wish the group would let mike pinder back in (at least for a one time reunion) and let bygones be bygones. i know that mike would do it ... for sure ..... but not if the rest of the group doesn't welcome him with open arms. people need to pressure the present members to let this become a reality, before they disband through more health reasons, or even death!

  • Mike left the group of his own free will. He's happy where he's at.

  • This is fantastic!!

  • @cloudjia Thanks for visiting my Moodies vids! I noticed you removed your comment about looking for the album...did you find it? "Prelude" is now out of print, but you can get "Caught Live + 5" just about anywhere. I have it on vinyl and cd, it's that good!!

  • ...Legends From The Beginning.....

  • Cant get over the way Justin holds his guitar. I like that!

  • This song embodies so much of the Moody Blues original soul. Genius Pinder mellotron, beautiful Thomas flute, haunting and stunning Hayward lead, Edge drumming, and impeccable Lodge harmony. This song is a real gem!

  • Funny how the Moody Blues music sounds so fresh and current even though it is 40 plus years old.. Timeless classic music can only do this.. Long live The Moodies they are the best there is!!

  • I love this song. To me it's the Moody Blues best, and maybe the best rock song I have ever heard. There is incredible truth here- "my life is founded on the thoughts that we two are just one". John Lodge's falsetto back up vocals touch the soul.

  • as a full fledged moody fan (beginning in 1973) i appreciate hearing this song for the first time. i'm always amazed at the new sounds that people bring to me everyday ... thank you ... long live youtube!!!!!
