i guess to greg allman "technical problems, take five minutes" truly means "hey greg, jam out a masterpiece while we figure this out"

I feel as though the "chord mishaps as he comes to the bridge" add to the song ... He reacts to them emotionally and seems to punctuate the lyrics with a frustration very similar to the emotion expressed in the lyrics ... it's as though he's playing out on the guitar the dilemma in the song of not getting it right ...not understanding her ... and he seems to bellow in anger at that moment and several spots of the song ...

I've always liked the Allman Brothers, but I never was really versed in their material, but ever since Greg's latest album I have been finding myself listening to more and more of, especially, his solo stuff. This, by far, is one of THE best renditions of ANY song I have ever heard. Truely speechless.....

Kuddos to the director in master control who had enough sense to tell everybody "just keep rolling!"

would love to hold that guitar after this one was played

I have often heard that artists and athletes have their best performances when nobody is watching. Greg Allman was just messing around during a sound check and we got likely the most emotional and perfect version of this song EVER RECORDED. They were also just playing Sweet Melissa right before they were asked to take 5 mins. Both songs to me express that inability to leave a woman you love ...
