Shot this a couple of weeks ago, was operating as a charter flight to and from Bermuda. I miss the real PanAm, this operation is in name only.

  • looks like the nose of a 737 but if u chopped the end bit were the engines are and put 1 of them on each wing it would look like a 737

  • Fusalage cross section and nose are the same

  • What's this ole beauty doing out of it's cage. I see this quite a bit in Sanford and Cecil Field in Florida.

  • Made a few "charter" runs last year. Have not seen them in Bermuda since then.

  • at least it is nice to see a plane still with Pan Am colors, I am disgusted that Guilford is now using it to paint their railroad they own. It is an absolute disgrace and I am sure Juan Trippe is turning in his grave at that!

  • Just like a fake ipod :^)

  • well that where they started and now thats where the finished, the caribbean

  • I flew on the special PanAM 747 with 39

1st class seats. The S. American configuration to RIO. Saw your city and stayed at the Hotel Gloria! Had a personal cab driver, drinks dinner, drinks@ an Impanema beach bar all for 7 bucks.! that included the tip.!

I did have to beat the crap out of some 10 year olds in a gang that tried to rob me...but otherwise great city.! Paude Sucar and Christo Redento.!

Pan am was big back them. I knew a Jimmy who tranfered from RIO to NYC.

    be well-
