NON-VIOLENTLY sending a message to the financial sector worldwide. Canada too is under the same bind of freedom because of monetary policy. Occupy in solidarity with #OccupyWallStreet, #OccupyToronto and the thousands of other occupations beginning on October 15th
'OccupyNB' is inviting the public to take part in a direct horizontal democratic process that will allow for engagement and awareness among New Brunswickers. We are determined to recognize the grievances of our citizens with regards to our Economic and Financial Policies. It has become clear that there is a great deal of unethical and unjust behaviour among our corporate elite, and elected officials. We will propose demands that will ensure of the eradication of economic and social inequality, while putting an end to corporate greed and bad governance. We invite all to join us in occupying Moncton and taking part in our General Assemblies.
We are the 99%. You are the 99%. And The 1% doesn't want You to know how powerful We are!

  • @Statismisbad less government is basically what got us in this mess... we need the same amount of government, just answerable to its populace instead of corporations.

  • @thefinalpie If you actually do "support those demonstrating with the appropriate knowledge of what they're against", wouldn't you agree that it's better for so-called "dumbass college stoner hippies" to be around them so they can actually - you know - learn something?

    Why the misplaced rage?

  • Well if these protesters want to help at all they should help stop the destruction of one of nonbeing most beautiful spots the cannought woods are being cut down so please do something worth while and stop this crime

  • We're lucky here in Canada that our banks ARE regulated and we got by this financial meltdown relatively easy compared to some other nations. It still remains that big corporations control too much of our policy making, remember, WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT. Our politicians are PUBLIC SERVANTS, these protests are ment to remind them of that! It's also a message for corporations, "We, the 99%, are your marketplace and we decide your fate!"

  • 17 of the most powerful banks in the world are being sued for over 100billion dollars by an organization aiming to recoup some of the loses of Freddy and Fanny. These banks are also being sued by a conglomeration representing the 50 states. A rep. from California has dropped out because the settlement is to small and the banks are demanding far reaching immunity against criminal prosecution. Big players know they've been ripped off. No one is suing these banks on behalf of you or I.

  • @thefinalpie I like the way you think.

  • @Bleensworth Its because I unfotunately know a few of the people in that protest and when I asked why they were there they couldn't give me an answer. Its the few people like that who make everyone else look dumb. Though the real reason I get annoyed is those kids with the Guy Fawkes masks, they wear it thinking they're cool for being part of "Anonymous" which in reality labels them as people who spend too much time on the child porn site known as 4chan. Also people that dumb never learn.

  • Fucking kids from 4chan. The majority of the people in these protests have no idea why they are there, theyre just doing it cuz everyone else is and it seems like the cool thing to do. I do support those demonstrating with the appropriate knowledge of what theyre against, but I can't fucking stand idiots who keep yelling pointless catch phases that they've heard on some fucking website. Dumbass college stoner hippies.

  • I am praying that one day money is absolutely worthless, would be just yet another coincidence for the bible LOL BRING ON THE ONE WORLD CURRENCY WHOOOOO HOOOOO =D

  • As long as Moncton discriminates against people that are exactly like Dog the Bounty Hunter, ( ex-criminal that became born again) not everyone will be working. Funny how most of these people that protest will bitch and whine but when it comes time for an election, like they just had in Ontario, hardly anyone goes out to vote 51% of people didn't vote by the way. Don't just bitch like so many of you Moncton people are good at, what you need to do is vote in record numbers.

  • @poultefas Look we all agree that everyone should be working, the only way to get more people working is to get the government out of the way - they tax too much, and have way to many regulations. SHRINK the government and its role. and we can all get back to work. If people can keep some of their money, they might actually spend it. It's hard to earn a living when the government at all levels take more then 50% of your money!! STARVE GOVERNMENT!!
