I'm not so sure, SpookyVid. Obama has voted on more than one occasion to increase military spending for Iraq, seems wishy-washy about pulling those in Iraq and going directly after Al-Quaeda, Hamas, Ahmadinejad, etc, opposes single-payer healthcare to satisfy the HMO's, and has voted for the $700 billion TARP fund. Here's the real clincher: HE HAS ZERO EXPERIENCE IN FOREIGN POLICY. Looking back, I feel I should've voted for McKinney or Nader.

Whoever has it in their brain that Nader stole Gore's election need to get over themselves.
Bush was going to steal the election at any cost anyway.
Please stop blaming him for something he wasn't responsible for and open your eyes. You should vote for who shares the ideals you believe the country should be run by, not who makes the best sounding audio-snips.

Dear Ralph- In 2000 I supported you. I went to meetings. I took days off from work and lost pay. I went door to door with tons of campaign lit. & spoke on your behalf. I was a poll watcher and almost closed the poll site due to corrupt republicans.
You're a great guy. Unfortunately, you've been VERY wrong.
If Gore was elected, there's NO WAY in hell, we'd be in the current mess. There is a HUGE difference between Obama & McSame.
Believe me. Obama is going to be a great president.

Why don't YOU make a difference besides just voting once every four years for Ralph and stop ripping on people who disagree on YouTube. If you're convinced that Obama and McCain are EXACTLY the same, then get more involved in politics. Too many people believe that there sole political duty is voting. Not true. Nader talks a lot about civic skills and duty. But, like I said, voting for Obama in the swing states is the best option in my honest opinion. Make a political statement in the others.

False. Obama is no better than McCain. He said he has no plans to withdrawal from Iraq, just "redeploy" those troops to Afghanistan and fight the "real war." He supports the continued use of air strikes that take a heavier toll than traditional military and he is promising to use that force on defenseless villagers in Pakistan. What do Obots say? "Well, it's OK because Pakistan can't fight back!" WTF? Anyone who votes for Obama still has blood on their hands.

I refuse to vote for Republicans or Democrats They have been ruling our country for over 145 years and are dinosaurs that should be extinct. These two entrenched political parties are owned by the Corporations, the Financial Aristocracy and the Military Machine. The recent tax-payer bailout favored by both McCain and Obama proves these candidates are servile followers of the American plutocracy.
To vote for a Republicrat is throwing your vote away. Don't vote for McObama...

You're a great guy who means well. But you know what? I also think you're wrong. There is a difference between the Dems and GOP.
This year I'm voting for Obama. I think he'll do a great job.

The two parties are very much a two-headed monster. But one head is better than the other. Damn it. If you're in a swing state: vote Democrat. Otherwise, if you want, vote third party to make that statement. Listen to Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn.
And do more than just vote. If you really want something different, work hard for it. Don't just make a once-every-four-year statement. I believe that's the biggest statement Nader is trying to make. Get involved, demand more from these politicians.

voting for someone more likely to win or voting for the popular ones based on pure bias and no actual research or real evidence to support their claims and statements,... is throwing your vote away. If I'm throwing my vote away, then so be it. At least I'm not a pussy and voting for someone simply because they seem nice, rather than actually checking their track record.
i think the important thing to remember is that the government of a country does not necessarily represent the people and so we should not let political differences cause conflicts among us. even though here in the west we are taught to fear the "rogue nations" like iran, we should remember they are people just like us and so there is no reason for hatred. the american government may do some bad things but this is not a representation of the country as a whole.
